Ellana Mineral Perfect Blend Foundation

Lately I've been addicted to make-up or simply I am looking for something to divert my time and emotions to while my beloved husband is away in a far away land. It also has something to do with me having a heat rash lately.

Since I already have a good experience with Ellana Minerals I decided to try it's foundation. They have two variations of this: Perfect Blend and Pure Blend. Actually there is not much difference just that the perfect blend is a complete mattifying and Pure Blend gives an illuminating finish.

I choose Ellana Minerals Perfect Blend Foundation in Toffee Mocha. It gives a good coverage given the fact that I normally have a long day and thus have the tendency to be oily after a long day. It actually stay for hours thus giving in a consideration for a cost sensitive Filipina. They have sampler size (1 gram) for those first timers who wanted just to try out. Since I already trusted the brand I go with the trial size (4 grams).

Thou unlike my Elf Foundation it needs a little detail-oriented way of application. That's why I normally apply it in the morning before I headed off to work. My Elf Foundation is for a quick retouch when I'm on the go. Suprisingly both products blends well.

With a reasonable investment of P300, this will surely be part of my kikay box.

Nichido Bare Basic Pallette

I am not an eye make-up fanatic but I must admit that I love this color combination in a pellette. It's a bare basic collection from Nichido. This brand used to have bad reviews but amazingly how this reviews affects their quality. Now, they can compete with brands at a reasonable price. Good for make-up addicts on a budget.

Nichido Bare Basic Pallette goes with 4 shades of eyeshadow that looks really good when blended together, two shades of blusher and applicator. It provides me with the simple look as i I am not wearing a thing. The colors matched my skin tone and blends naturally when finished with a liquid eye liner. I started with this product for this brand and will surely grab some when I went back to Beauty by SM. Congrats Nichiso for being a new member of my kikaybox!

The History of the Barbie Doll

What a glamorous doll...perfect curve, make-up, fashionable outfits, and her kikay box or should I say anything about her is so kikay. I can't say anything more but I still love Barbie dolls...I grow with it and surely will always be part of me.

Avon Concealer

Studies shows that 9 out of 10 women have dark spot or dark circle on your eyes. The easiest way to find those is to put yur head down infront of a mirror and locate where the dark spots are. We can't do anything about it especially if we are stressed-out, staying late at night or simply its just the way our eyes look like. Thanks to cosmetic science and now we have what we called concealers.

This is my first time to use a concealer and I choose to use Avon Almond Concealer. I choose Avon because I know I am not allergic to the brand. It's hard to experiement especially with brands that you are not familiar for it may cause some allergic effect on your skin.
When applying concealer, I normally use my ring finger to apply it on my dark sports, you may use sponge or other tools. I only use my finger simply because I know it will be gentle for our skin within the eye region is delicate and sensitive. Just put a little amount of concealer, apply it with a rolling motion until all the dark spots are shaded and blended well with your natural color.

Remember that concealers are not meant to erase your dark spots but simply making it less obvious. I have som much fun using this product and this will definitely be a constant part of my kikaybox. My verdict with the product: repurchase.
